The food

Greg Wellman joined The Glasshouse in February 2018.

Originally from Hampshire, Greg studied Hospitality Management at Bournemouth University before deciding that his passion for food lay in its creation, rather than its delivery.

Greg has travelled extensively in Australasia and South America, and this is reflected in the diversity of dishes on the menu.  He cut his teeth in some prestigious kitchens including The Square, Chez Bruce and most recently Elystan Street.  A keen surfer, Greg is passionate about all things “sea” and loves to cook fish dishes, but this doesn’t detract from the rest of the carefully thought out menu.

Cheese is also a subject accorded serious thought by the whole team and the impressive board remains an integral part of the restaurant’s daily life.
